Regulatory Disclosures
Equal Housing Lender
Click Click Close supports the principles of the Fair Housing Act and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA). We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), familial status, disability, marital status, recipient of public assistance income, age (provided the applicant has the capacity to contract), or any other basis prohibited by applicable law.
Entity Status
Click Click Close originates business-purpose credit for commercial and investment property. Operator NMLS# 225597. Business-purpose credit is excluded from the federal SAFE Act MLO licensing requirement under 12 CFR 1007.103(c)(2) when the loan is secured by non-owner-occupied / non-dwelling property and is not a consumer-purpose transaction. We do not take consumer-mortgage applications. Final credit decisions for business-purpose credit are issued by Click Click Close or a partner lender; you may verify licensing status at the NMLS Consumer Access portal: nmlsconsumeraccess.org.
No Credit Pull
We do not pull your credit report at any point during the inquiry or pre-qualification process. No soft pull. No hard pull. No tri-merge. A credit pull, if any, will only be performed by a licensed partner after you sign an explicit authorization with that partner. The credit pull performed by the partner is governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and your authorization with that partner.
Federal Disclosures (Consumer-Purpose Credit)
For consumer-purpose credit transactions (loans primarily for personal, family, or household purposes), the following federal frameworks apply to the licensed partner who issues the credit decision:
- RESPA (Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Regulation X) — disclosures regarding settlement services and kickbacks.
- TILA / Reg Z (Truth in Lending Act, Regulation Z) — disclosures regarding APR, finance charge, amount financed, and total of payments.
- ECOA / Reg B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Regulation B) — fair-lending, adverse-action notice, and prohibited-basis nondiscrimination.
- SAFE Act — registration of loan originators with NMLS.
- Fair Housing Act — fair-housing in residential real-estate transactions.
- HMDA (Home Mortgage Disclosure Act) — public disclosure of mortgage lending data.
Click Click Close does not issue any of the above disclosures. They will be issued by the licensed partner at the appropriate point in the credit process.
Business-Purpose Credit
Loans originated for investment, commercial, or other business purposes are not subject to the consumer-mortgage regime above. Business-purpose loans are governed by the parties' loan agreements, applicable state commercial-lending law, and federal anti-discrimination law. The Truth in Lending Act's consumer-disclosure timing requirements (Reg Z) and certain ECOA individual-disclosure timing requirements do not apply to business-purpose credit.
